enisyst controls energy center in the neighborhood
Energy efficiency thanks to intelligent control, tenant electricity model and load management
Measures:
On the site of the former industrial wasteland, the newly built Arkadien residential quarter in Dornstadt/Ulm already offers a home to over 400 people. Flats, terraced houses and semi-detached houses for every age group and phase of life have been built in Dornstadt. For its urban development beacon character, the Quartier 2022 was awarded the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany.
The fact that the building not only appears appealing on the outside but also scores with its “inner values” is demonstrated by the implementation of a climate-friendly overall concept. Equipped with three block-type thermal power stations and two peak-load boilers, which are intelligently controlled with the energy management system from enisyst, the quarter can supply itself in a climate-neutral manner.
A superordinate dynamic load management system regulates the loading of the electric vehicles in the underground car park. In addition, the tenants are supplied with locally generated electricity via an individually coordinated, legally compliant tenant electricity model.
Here, biodiversity is combined with minimal land sealing and alternative energy generation.
